Dubai, June 6 (IANS/WAM) A petroleum company here has found a novel way to help the poor. Some 16 service stations of the company will collect used clothes from people to distribute them among the poor.
The Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) has launched the aid campaign in the city.
Emarat’s corporate communications manager Hussain Kazim said: ‘The company endeavours to help the poor and support them in any way it can.’
Special containers are kept at the company’s service stations for people to drop their used clothes.
