London, June 13 (IANS) ‘Star Wars’, ‘E.T. The Extra Terrestrial’ and ‘Jaws’ have been named the biggest summer blockbusters of all time in that order, an online poll revealed.

Hollywood.com bosses have added up the earnings of the biggest seasonal releases and compiled a list of the most successful films, taking inflation into account.

‘Star Wars’ has emerged as the top film, with ‘E.T.’ and ‘Jaws’ following suit.

Also making to the top five are ‘Return of the Jedi’ and ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, while ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’, ‘Forrest Gump’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Mary Poppins’ round off the top 10.
