Patna, June 26 (IANS) Twenty-four people were killed Saturday when a bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Bihar, police said.
Over two dozen people were seriously injured, and some were battling for life in the Patna Medical College and Hospital.
The accident took place near Chenati village in Patna district, a police officer said.
The government has announced a compensation of Rs.50,000 to the next of kin of the victims.
