Melbourne, June 28 (IANS) Ace golfer Tiger Woods was reunited with estranged wife Elin Nordegren for the first time in months at a birthday party he threw for daughter Sam.
Woods, who is accused of a string of flings, missed Sam’s birthday party June 18 as he was playing in the US Open. Woods then promised not to miss any more of his children’s birthdays and threw another party for Sam, who turned 3 last month, Saturday, reports heraldsun.com.su.
Woods brought his office manager Karen and another woman with him.
‘They put aside their differences for the good of their daughter when a big cake rolled in,’ said a source.
‘Clearly this was Tiger trying to make it up to Sam. He wasn’t there on her birthday so he wanted to have a party for her and be there. Elin went along with it. Despite their differences they want to do what is best for their children,’ the source added.
Woods has agreed to pay Nordegren $752 million (500 million pounds) as divorce settlement.
