New Delhi, July 21 (IANS) Describing the bedlam in the Bihar assembly as ‘unfortunate,’ the Congress Wednesday made a veiled attack on Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary.

‘Whatever happened in the Bihar assembly is unfortunate and sad. This should not happen. It is also the responsibility of the speaker to run the house properly,’ Congress spokesman Manish Tewari said here.

Sixtyseven opposition legislators were Wednesday suspended for unruly behaviour in the Bihar assembly while seeking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s resignation.
