Hong Kong, Aug 9 (DPA) A woman decapitated her mother before setting their apartment on fire and jumping to her death, a media report said Monday.
The woman, believed to have been mentally ill, stabbed her mother multiple times, cut off her head and then leapt from their 11th-floor flat, the South China Morning Post said.
The pair were heard having a heated argument before the incident Sunday night.
A caretaker called police and firefighters after he smelled burning and saw smoke coming from inside. The daughter jumped to her death as police broke into the flat.
