Chandigarh, Aug 24 (IANS) The Gurgaon Municipal Corporation has gone online for issuing no objection certificates (NOCs) for the sale and purchase of immoveable property, an official said here Tuesday.

He said people will have the option to apply online for the NOCs through the corporation’s website. The corporation has also gone online for nine other public facilities to help the people and reduce congestion in its offices.

Gurgaon Municipal Commissioner R.K. Khullar said people could also know the status of their immoveable property through the online facility.

He said the online service could also be used to apply for marriage registration, house tax, registration of mobile towers, commercial establishments, licence, birth and death registration and for obtaining building plans.

Users can also seek information under Right to Information Act (RTI) and also register complaints.
