New Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS) Three people were killed in separate accidents across Delhi Monday night, police Tuesday said.
Sunil, 28, was riding a motorcycle with his three friends in Hari Nagar in west Delhi when a speeding car hit them from behind. While his friends escaped with minor injuries, Sunil, who was driving, died on the spot.
‘The car did not have a number plate, and its driver is absconding. We are looking into the matter,’ said a senior police official.
Another two-wheeler driver was killed when hit by a speeding vehicle in Shakarpur area of east Delhi.
‘Rajinder Kumar, 36, was on his scooter when hit by a vehicle, presumably travelling at very high speed. He was brought to A.K. Walia hospital, where doctors declared him dead,’ a senior police official told IANS. The details of the vehicle involved in the accident were not known.
Meanwhile, Kallu, 22, a labourer, who had boarded a bus to Vivek Vihar, fell off when the bus sped off and was crushed by its rear tyre. He died on the spot.
