Chennai, Sep 22 (IANS) The Chairman of $3.3 billion Murugappa Group, A. Vellayan, Wednesday took over as new chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI).
Vellayan has been on the Board of Directors of FAI since 2001.
‘The entire industry looks forward to move ahead under Vellayan’s leadership,’ said Satish Chander, director general, FAI.
Fertiliser major Coromandel International is part of the Murugappa group.
