Ranchi, Oct 13 (IANS) A time-bomb was found at a railway station in coal city Dhanbad in Jharkhand Wednesday and the police suspect a Maoist hand in it.
The bomb was spotted by a passenger in a canteen at Kumardugi railway station of Dhanbad district, around 240 km from here. The railway police neutralised it by splashing water over it.
The bomb disposal squad was called from Ranchi but the explosive was neutralised before it could reach the spot. The bomb was later buried in barren land.
Police suspect that Maoists might have planted the bomb at the railway station.
