New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) The Congress said Thursday that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in the Karnataka trust vote would be subject to the court ruling on the disqualification of members by the speaker.
‘Whatever the result, it is subject to the final decision of the high court,’ Congress spokesman Manish Tewari told reporters.
He added that the BJP government had promoted corruption and institutionalised fundamentalism in the state.
Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa Thursday won the second confidence motion in the state assembly with his party crossing the half-way mark of 105 by one vote.
