New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) ABG Shipyard, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla group, Tuesday said it has bagged an export order of Rs.2,000 crore from Drilling and Offshore for the construction of two jack-up rigs.
The rigs are designed for year-round Gulf of Mexico and 50-year return period North Sea environment in accordance with American Bureau of Shipping assessment criteria, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The rigs will have the operating capacity of up to 350 feet depth and a drilling depth capacity of 30,000 feet.
With this order, the total order book of the company stands now at Rs.14,500 crore.
