Islamabad, Nov 26 (IANS) Security officials in this Pakistani capital have arrested two suspected terrorists on charges of planning to target important personalities and buildings during the month of Muharram, media reports said.
‘The arrested terrorists are Qasim and Munir’, PTV reported Friday adding: ‘The security officials have managed to foil a major terrorist attack after this crackdown.’
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has summoned an urgent meeting of the authorities concerned and security has been beefed-up.
