New Delhi, Dec 1 (IANS) The Supreme Court Wednesday directed the central government to deposit with the registry the original recordings of conversations of corporate lobbyist Nira Radia in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.
Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium informed the court that Central Vigilance Commissioner P.J. Thomas would not be associated in any way with the supervision of CBI’s investigations into the 2G scam.
The bench of Justices G.S. Singhvi and A.K. Ganguly said the original recordings should be deposited in a sealed cover in a hard disk, in tapes and CDs.
