Bangalore, Dec 22 (IANS) As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance at a rally in New Delhi protested corruption in the central government, the Karnataka unit of the Janata Dal-United, an NDA partner, held a rally here against both the union government and the BJP regime in the state.

State JD-U president M.P. Nadagouda led the protest at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in city centre with party workers carrying placards and shouting slogans condemning the central government over the 2G spectrum scandal and price rise and the state BJP ministry for various land scams.

Nadagouda attacked the BJP also for not sacking ‘corrupt’ ministers in Karnataka while demanding resignation of central ministers allegedly involved in various scandals, including 2G spectrum allotment.

He blamed the central government policies for the rising prices of food articles, vegetables and fruits.

The NDA has excluded Karnataka from its nation-wide protests against the central government over 2G spectrum allocation and other alleged scams.
