New Delhi, Jan 28 (IANS) Bright sunshine greeted the capital Friday morning but the chill continued as the minimum temperature fell to 6 degrees Celsius – two notches below the average temperature for the season.
‘It would be a misty and sunny day. The temperature is likely to remain stable with a little bit of chill,’ an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The maximum temperature recorded Thursday was 18.6 degrees, a fall of 3 degrees from the average temperature.
Friday’s minimum temperature also observed a fall from Thursday’s 7 degrees.
‘The maximum temperature is expected to stay around 22 degrees,’ the official said.
