London, May 24 (Inditop) Former glamour model Katie Price says she made “the biggest mistake” of her life by driving away singer husband Peter Andre and is desperate to reconcile with him.
“If only I could turn back the clock. I’ve made the biggest mistake of my life and it’s all my own fault. If I’d have known I was driving Pete away so badly I would have pulled myself back. I don’t want a divorce, I just want us back as a family again,” Katie told Britain’s News of the World newspaper.
Contactmusic.com reports that Katie recently met with divorce expert Fiona Shackleton, who represented Prince Charles and Sir Paul McCartney during their divorces, to help protect her multi-million pound empire during the separation.
But the 31-year-old star, who reportedly changed the locks on their mansion and threw out Peter’s belongings, has changed her mind and is now determined to save their marriage.
“I’ll take Pete back tomorrow. I’ll drop the divorce if he gives me another chance,” she said.
However, friends of the couple say it is too late for them to reconcile.
“Pete never wanted this to happen and it took a lot for him to walk away. At the moment there is no way back and I don’t see that changing,” said a friend.
