Moscow, Feb 17 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A man in Russia’s southern Siberian region has been detained on charges of beheading his girlfriend with a sword, officials said Thursday.
The 32-year-old man from the Altai Territory told police he was jealous over his live-in girlfriend’s continued feelings for an ex-lover.
‘I didn’t cope with my feelings,’ he said.
Police said the man was drunk at the time of the attack. He dealt seven blows to the victim’s neck before throwing the severed head out of his apartment.
