London, June 7 (Inditop) Britney Spears has settled a lawsuit brought against her by a former manager by paying $193,000 as part of the legal settlement.

Contactmusic.com reports that Spears was sued by Florida-based Johnny Wright, who she worked with from 1999 until 2003, over claims the singer breached a contract by failing to pay him between 2006 and 2008.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the case was settled in court Friday although terms of the financial agreement were not disclosed.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz approved the settlement and also signed off $193,000 in legal fees to be paid by the singer, the majority going to the attorneys who handed the Wright case.

Spears was placed in a court-ordered conservatorship last year which handed her father, Jamie, control over her legal and business affairs.
