Allahabad, April 29 (IANS) A woman immolated herself along with her three minor children here Friday following a heated argument with her husband, police said.
Gudiya, 30, a native of Pachperwa village, set herself, her two sons and a daughter on fire inside her house in Holagarh town, on the outskirts of Allahabad.
‘Gudiya and her three children – aged between six months to four years – died on the spot,’ police inspector Narendra Kumar told reporters in Allahabad, some 200 km from Lucknow.
‘Investigations reveal the woman took the extreme step after having a tiff with her husband, who is absconding,’ he added.
