New Delhi, April 30 (IANS) A fire broke out in a hotel in west Delhi killing a 45-year-old man and injuring three other employees, the police said Saturday.

The fire broke out on the ground floor of Star Hotel in Mayapuri at around 5 a.m. Saturday. Raja, an employee, died inside the building itself while three others jumped from their second floor sleeping quarters and were injured, according to investigating officer Sushil Kumar.

The fire has been put out. The police said the cause of the fire had not yet been ascertained but it is suspected to have been sparked off by a leak in a cooking gas cylinder.
