New Delhi, April 30 (IANS) A three-year-old girl died after she was hit by a tractor trailer here Saturday morning, police said.
The accident occurred in Aman Vihar area of north Delhi around 8.30 a.m.
‘The girl was going along with her father to fetch milk. A tractor trailer came from their right-hand side when they were crossing the road. While the girl was hit, her father had a narrow escape,’ investigating officer Kuldeep Singh said.
The girl received serious head injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
The driver of the tractor ran away and is untraced, Singh added.
