Brasilia/Abu Dhabi, May 31 (IANS/WAM) Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has conferred the National Order of Merit on the UAE ambassador to the country, officials said.
Yusuf Ali Abdul Rahman Al Osaimi was conferred Brazil’s second highest distinction by Paulo Cordeiro, undersecretary to the ministry of foreign affairs.
The award was presented to Al Osaimi during a programme held on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Brazil.
