Kabul, Oct 2 (IANS) Thirty-seven militants were killed in fighting with the security forces in different parts of Afghanistan, Xinhua reported Sunday.
Twenty-two others were captured in the operations in the past 24 hours till Sunday evening, the Afghan interior ministry said.
The operations were launched in nearly a dozen places, including Kabul, Laghman, Kandahar, Helmand, Wardak, Paktika, Pakiya and Khost.
