New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) American business travel magazine ‘Global Traveler’ has named global airline alliance ‘Oneworld’ as the best inter-airline network.
‘The honour was granted to Oneworld for the second year in a row on the basis of reader research,’ the airline alliance member Nordic carrier Finnair said in a statement Friday.
‘Being in Oneworld gives us a global signature of the highest quality and we are proud to be a member,’ Paavo Virkkunen, responsible for the alliance relations at Finnair, said in the statement.
Oneworld is one of the largest inter-airline alliance in the world with 12 members, including British Airways and American Airlines, and three members-elect – Air Berlin, Kingfisher Airlines and Malaysia Airlines.
