Ranchi, Jan 3 (IANS) Averting a tragedy, police Tuesday recovered a 40 kg IED planted by suspected Maoist on a road in Jharkhand’s Khuti district, police said.
The security personnel spotted wire on a non-tarred road between Bhandra-Jinlinga in Khuti, around 60 km from Ranchi. Police unearthed the IED and recovered around 200 meters of wire connected to it.
The bomb disposal squad was called to neutralise the bomb, police said.
