New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS) French aviation firm Dassault has won the $10.4 billion deal for supplying 126 multi-role fighter aircraft to the India Air Force (IAF), a government source said Tuesday.

Dasault is said to have placed the lowest bid to supply India with the aircraft over the next 10 years, the source said.

The deal saw a close fight between the Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon in the final round.
