Mumbai, April 1 (IANS) Filmmaker Onir was upset after his flight to Shimla was cancelled without prior intimation.
“#Kingfisher Airlines sucks. Made the mistake of trusting. Reach the airport to be told flight to Shimla cancelled. No text message or email,” Onir tweeted.
The filmmaker, who was going to Shimla for a three-day conference organised by Indian Institute Of Advanced Study, then decided to take a flight to Chandigarh and travel to Shimla by cab.
“Not taking anymore chances. With #KingfisherAirlines. Cancelled my flight to Shimla. Now flying to Chandigarh and then cab it to Shimla,” he further posted.

Actress Dia Mirza has congratulated tennis ace Leander Paes for winning his 50th doubles title during the Sony Ericsson Open.
“Congratulations India!!!” Leander Paes does it again. #50thDoublesWin Congratulations Lee! So proud of you,” Dia wrote on her Twitter page.
Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek beat second-seeded Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor in the men’s doubles finals in Miami.

Arshad calls ‘Jolly LLB’ ‘wonderful’ experience
Actor Arshad Warsi has wrapped up shooting of his new film “Jolly LLB” and calls the entire experience of working on the film “wonderful”.
“Celebrated the completion of ‘Jolly LLB’ last night after pack up with the entire cast and crew. ‘Jolly LLB has been such a wonderful experience,” Arshad tweeted.
“I am always on a lookout for scripts like Jolly LLB, sadly one does not come by scripts like ‘JOLLY LLB’ too often. Extremely grateful to Fox Star Studios and Subhash Kapur for making and casting me in it,” he posted. The film also features actress Amrita Rao.
