New Delhi, April 1 (IANS) It was a hot weekend for Delhi residents with the maximum temperature Sunday shooting up to 37.6 degrees, four notches above average. Monday morning is forecast to be cloudy but the day will be hot, the weatherman said.
While the minimum temperature Sunday was 22 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, the humidity wavered between a high and low of 77 and 26 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department, Monday morning will be partly cloudy but the sky will remain clear during the day.
The maximum and minimum temperatures Monday are likely to hover around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
