Patna, May 2 (IANS) Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi Wednesday justified dynastic politics, hinting that her children will join politics.

“My sons and daughters will join politics at the right time. Our children will become leaders like us,” she said here, obviously also referring to her husband and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad.
“If an advocate’s son can become an advocate, a judge’s son can become a judge, an engineer’s son can become an engineer, why can’t a politician’s son become a politician?”
She said it was natural for politicians’ children to take to politics.
“What is wrong about dynastic politics? It is not new. There are several family members including sons and daughters of politicians in politics across the country,” she told reporters at an event.
There is speculation in political circles that Lalu Prasad’s and her younger son Tejaswi Yadav may enter active politics soon.
Lalu Prasad in 2010 formally introduced Tejaswi in politics during state elections but he failed to make a mark. Since then, the young man has maintained a low profile.
