New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) A 25-year-old man was kidnapped from here and murdered by the husband and brother of a newly-married woman for harassing her through phone calls and text messages, police said Saturday. The two have been arrested.

Rakesh, a property dealer in west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, was allegedly stabbed to death July 11 and his body was dumped in a drain in Noida. The body was recovered by Uttar Pradesh Police the next day.
The woman’s husband Deepak and brother Ramanand, both in their mid-20s, were arrested from Noida by Delhi Police July 12.
Deepak’s wife lived in the same neighbourhood as Rakesh before her marriage three months back. After her marriage she started living in Noida.
Police said Rakesh had been sending objectionable messages on the phone of Deepak’s wife after her marriage.
Deepak and Ramanand drank liquor with Rakesh July 11 in north Delhi’s Rohini and took him to Noida in his car and killed him, police said.
