Mysore, July 30 (IANS) Expectedly, Rajasthan CA drew with Hyderabad CA in a high-scoring match of the Shafi Darashah Trophy cricket tournament here Monday.
In Alur, Baroda CA and Bangladesh ‘A’ were also involved in a draw with the former making up for their first innings debacle by making 445 in their second essay. Bangladesh were 184 for four, chasing a target of 334, but did not make a serious effort to achieve it given the paucity of time.
In Bangalore, K.B. Pawan slammed 237 (341b, 25×4, 2×6) and Amit A Verma made 138 (184b, 14×4, 2×6) for KSCA XI drawing with KSCA Colts, who could not convert a 216-run first innings lead into a positive result. KSCA XI made up for their poor first innings effort of 190 all out by making 503 for four declared in their second essay.
