Mumbai, July 30 (IANS) Clint FC got the better of Geostanne United 1-0 in a Third Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League at the St. Xavier’s ground here.
Suraj Singh netted the all-important winner for Clint to pocket three points.
In other matches, Shreenath Nagar FC prevailed over Manish Nagar SC by a narrow 2-1 margin. Ishant Doshi and Pratimesh Bobade scored a goal each for the winners, while Shaun F was on target for the losers.
Division III results: Clint FC 1 (Suraj Singh) beat Geostanne United 0; Ptrakar Vikas FC 2 (Aditya Despande, Shaunak Gogale) drew with Creek View SC 2 (Robin D’Souza, Sunny Pais); Shreenath Nagar FC 2 (Ishant Doshi, Pratimesh Bobade) beat Manish Nagar SC 1 (Shaun F).
