New Delhi, July 18 (Inditop.com) All India Tennis Association (AITA) secretary-general Anil Khanna has been re-elected to the International Tennis Federation (ITF) board of directors for the fourth successive time.
Khanna, president of Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), will be the continent’s representative on the board till 2011. He was among the six of the 12-member board re-elected at the ITF Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Madrid Friday.
The other re-elected members were Juan Margets (Spain), Ismail El Shafei (Egypt), Franklin Johnson (US), Geoff Pollard (Australia) and Georg Von Waldenfels (Germay).
They were joined by six new members, Jacques Dupre (France), Lucy Garvin (US), Jack Graham (Canada), Chris Kypriotis (Brazil), Roman Murashovsky (Russia) and Stuart Smith (Great Britain).
Briton David Jude was confirmed as ITF Treasurer at the meeting attended by delegates from 96 nations.
