London, Sep 17 (IANS) Like it happens in Hollywood movies, a car in Britain flew as high as 80 feet and smashed a big hole in a couple’s first-floor bedroom.
The silver Lexus ploughed into the property after mounting a parked vehicle and flying 80ft through the air, The Sun reported. The occupants of the room were asleep at 3 a.m. when the accident occurred. They and two children escaped unhurt.
Interestingly, the car’s driver and two other male passengers suffered just minor injuries.
Police said the crash damaged both the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom of the two-storey house in Epsom town, Surrey.
One of the neighbours said: “It sounded like a plane coming out the sky. I think the car flew about 80ft before it came to rest in the side of the house.
“The family inside were so incredibly lucky to escape.”
The cause of the accident was yet to be determined.
