London, Sep 17 (IANS) Late singer Amy Winehouse was given a final goodbye by family and friends Sunday when her ashes were buried at a ceremony in north London.
They were buried underneath a new pink and black headstone, reports thesun.co.uk.
The black stone has pink writing and a picture of a songbird, and also pays respects to her grandmother Cynthia Levy.
About 70 people attended the Jewish ceremony.
Her father Mitch Winehouse honoured his daughter by praising her “short but dynamic” life.
He recently revealed that future posthumous albums may feature live tracks performed by her.
Winehouse died due to drug overdose July 23 last year, after accidental alcohol poisoning. She was 27.
