Taipei, Oct 10 (IANS) The inaugural Yeangder Golf Championship will be the season’s finale of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) here in November, with a total prize money of $120,000.
This will raise this season’s ADT schedule to a record 13 tournaments, a jump of eight events from its inaugural year in 2010.
The championship will be played at the National Garden Country Club here Nov 20-23, where the tournament will determine the top three players for the Order of Merit who will earn cards on the Asian Tour for 2013.
All ADT events will start receiving official World Golf Ranking points from 2013 onwards. The world rankings will be used to determine the playing field for the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro in 2016 when golf makes a return into the Games.
