Yangon, Nov 2 (IANS) Myanmar has attracted $662 million in foreign investment in the first seven months of 2012, the central statistical organization said.

Of the total, about $366 million was injected into oil and gas sector, $193 million in power, $72 million in manufacturing and $19 million in mining from January to July.
China took the lead with about $195 million followed by Britain with $138 million, India $84 million, Malaysia $53 million and Singapore $48 million, Xinhua reported.
