Mumbai, Dec 29 (IANS) Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, who recently made erotic thriller “Hate Story”, says he has stepped out of the movie’s sequel.
“I was planning to make ‘Hate Story 2’, but I stepped out of that project. I don’t want to repeat the genre. How much can you show in the same genre? I have done that and now I want to try something different,” Agnihotri told IANS.
The filmmaker started his career with the 2005 thriller “Chocolate”, after which he directed “Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal”, a sports-based film. Then he made “Hate Story”, featuring Paoli Dam, Gulshan Devaiya and Nikhil Dwivedi.
Currently, he is busy shooting his next film “Freedom”.
“I have finished the first schedule of ‘Freedom’ and almost 65 percent of the shooting has been done. The second schedule will start from second week of January,” he said.
