Kolkata, April 1 (IANS) The Shah Rukh Khan owned Red Chillies Entertainment (RCE) which broke even last year is hoping for a 25 percent growth year on year, a top company official said here Monday.
“We have achieved break even in March last year and as a company we are hoping to grow by 25 percent year on year,” company chief executive officer Venky Mysore told media persons on the sidelines of an event here.
Mysore, however, refused to comment about the revenue of the company.
Founded by the Bollywood actor in 2004, the RCE is a movie production and distribution company and also has a little over 50 percent stake in the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The company Monday announced Speciality Restaurants Limited as its hospitality partner for the 2013 Indian Premier League Season.
Talking about the ticket sales for the KKR matches at the Eden Gardens, Mysore said the almost all the tickets have been sold out for Wednesday’s season opener between the Kolkata franchise and the Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens here.
“The demand for tickets is huge. We are almost sell out for the first match and sales are also thick for the rest of the matches,” added Mysore.
