London, July 31 (Inditop.com) Actress-singer Lindsay Lohan has dismissed reports that she owes a top Hollywood hotel $37,500 in unpaid bills and blames a jilted former friend for spreading false rumours.
There were reports that Lohan had failed to pay up for a stay at the luxurious Chateau Marmont in April.
However, the “Mean Girls” star is denying all knowledge of the outstanding debt and sources at the exclusive resort insist Lohan doesn’t owe the hotel anything, reported contactmusic.com
Lohan’s representative is holding one of the actress’ former friends responsible for spreading the rumour.
“Some ex-friend is making up a lot of stories and giving them to the British tabloids,” said her spokesperson.
