London, Aug 7 (DPA) Three soldiers of Britain’s elite Parachute Regiment died in an explosion that targeted their armoured vehicle in southern Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said Friday.
The incident occurred north of Lashkar Gah in Helmand Province Thursday, said the MoD. A fourth soldier was seriously injured.
The deaths bring the total of British military fatalities in Afghanistan to 195 since the conflict began.
