Los Angeles, Aug 8 (Inditop.com) Pop diva Britney Spears will receive a special award at the 2009 Teen Choice awards Sunday.
The “Womanizer” singer, who is due to perform at the annual event in California’s Universal City, will be presented with the ultimate choice award for her “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 27-year-old star is also nominated in three categories — choice music single, choice female artist and choice music tour.
She will be up against stars like Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson.
