Seoul, Aug 9 (Inditop.com) South Korean government Sunday reported over 1700 cases of influenza A(H1N1), also known as swine flu, in the country.
The country’s ministry for health, welfare and family affairs announced that an additional 51 swine flu cases had been confirmed, raising the nation’s total infections to 1,754, WAM news agency reported.
The new cases included five people who had returned from recent trips to foreign countries.
No deaths have been reported in South Korea in connection with the swine flu so far.
