Havana, Aug 11 (EFE) At least 14 people were killed and 33 others injured Monday when the two trucks in which they were travelling collided in central Cuba, officials said.
The accident occurred in Ciego de Avila province. The injured were rushed to hospital.
Both the vehicles were in high speed, as the drivers were involved in a race to outperform each other, police officer Yordanis Rodriguez said.
