New Delhi, Aug 11 (Inditop.com) The Supreme Court Tuesday awarded a sum of Rs.1 million as ex-gratia to the mother and three brothers of Ujjain man Sohrabuddin Sheikh, who was killed along with his wife Kausar Bi by a Gujarat police team in a staged shootout.

A bench of Justice Tarun Chatterjee and Justice Aftab Alam, while ordering the payment of monetary relief, deferred the issue of transferring the case for further investigation to a special probe panel headed by former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director R.K. Raghavan to Sep 2.
