Jammu, Feb 11 (IANS) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday visited a government hospital here to enquire about the health of injured opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) legislator Muhstaq Ahmad Shah.

Shah fell down and was injured during a ruckus in the state assembly Tuesday when the speaker ordered the marshals to take agitating PDP legislators out of the house to restore order.
Abdullah also visited Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) legislator Yusuf Tarigami who was admitted to the same hospital after he complained of chest pain.
“The chief minister visited both the legislators, interacted with them, asked about their health and prayed for their early recovery,” an official statement said here.
