Bangalore: International Business Machines (IBM) India will deploy its end-to-end IT solutions at Nomura Services India to bolster the leading financial services group’s business continuity, disaster and system failure response strategies.
The multi-year IT services agreement will enable IBM to provide Nomura with an in-city work area recovery solution to recover critical business functions in the event of an interruption at a primary site, the IT major said Tuesday.
“A comprehensive solution comprising backup offices through our work area recovery centre in Mumbai, and a backup technology capability centre have been set up to ensure Nomura the necessary level of business continuity should a disaster strik,” IBM India director Neeraj Sharma said.
