Bangkok, Aug 27 (Prensa Latina) The number of people to die of swine flu in Thailand has risen to 119 after health officials confirmed eight more deaths from the viral disease Wednesday.
The latest victims include four men and four women, Thai public health ministry said in a report.
The ministry said 50 percent of the victims were between 31 and 40 years of age. It said more than 6.5 million pills of the anti-flu drug Osetalvimir have been distributed and six million pills are in stock. The flu outbreak is starting to ease due to easy access to medication, it said.
