Bhopal, Aug 28 (Inditop.com) Three members of a family were killed and three others injured over a land dispute in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, police said Friday.

The incident occurred at Agria Nayapura village, about 80 km from here. The six people were attacked by nearly three dozen armed men while on their way to the court.

“Manzoor Khan, Shahid and Rafique were killed by their relatives with sharp edged weapons. Personal rivalry and land dispute are said to be the reasons behind the murder,” Superintendent of Police I.P. Kulshrestha said.

According to police, the rivalry between the families was almost a year old. The attack was in revenge for a killing last year.
